“They share freely and give generously to the poor.
Their good deeds will be remembered forever.”
(2 Corinthians 9:9)
A message from Lead Pastor Jim Clayton:
"Part of the DNA of Journey Church is to cultivate a culture of generosity. The Generosity Project is something we came up with to help people in our church and in our community who need help. We raise money and collect clothing, food and other items to give away to people who need it, inside and outside our church. To help people outside the church, we support Christian Help and the Interchurch Food Pantry. During the 2010 Christmas season, the people of Journey Church contributed $20,971! In addition to the Generosty Project, which helps people inside and outside our church, we also support new church startups (church planting). The total amount given away by Journey Church so far is over $32,000 and counting...
"Our hope in starting Journey Church was that it would make a difference in our community, and eventually the world, and the Generosity Project is a big step in that direction. I'm proud of our church and I'm amazed at what God is doing!"
-- Jim Clayton, Lead Pastor
