Youth Pastor Position

Journey Church of Franklin Indiana is currently looking for a part-time youth pastor, who will be responsible for all aspects of the youth ministry and will work directly with the lead pastor in developing a ministry for middle and high school students. Our awesome downtown facility will be available for all youth gatherings. The youth pastor will be expected to proactively connect with youth in the Franklin for the purpose of connecting them with Journey Church and with God.

We are committed to reaching the unchurched in our community, and all aspects of our church reflect that. We want Journey Church to be a safe place for youth to investigate and discover their faith, so we work hard to overcome the stereotypes and issues often associated with "church."

Initially, this will be a subcontractor position based on per-week pay while we evaluate the fit and appropriateness for the Journey Church mission and culture. As the church and the youth ministry grows, we will consider a more permanent postion.
